So far, I've been on one trip in my new pop-up. I stayed at Pocahontas State Park in Virginia for Thanksgiving weekend 2003. It was cold and VERY windy, but the furnace and the heated mattresses kept things nice and snuggly warm. [A bottle of merlot and a nice campfire helped, too.]
Nestle, my German Shepherd/Alaskan Malamute "guarding" the pop-up at Pocahontas SP. |
The front bunk, with bedding and stuff. |
The aft bunk and dinette, with assorted stuff lying around. I got almost all my Christams cards done that weekend. |
The storage area on the curbside of the pop-up. I must have been a little off-balance when I took this picture... things appear to be leaning to the right a lot. |
The galley/sink area. Clean at the moment, because I hadn't fixed any meals yet. |
My new stick-on mirror. The picture's not very good, but you can almost see how much the convex mirror adds to your field of vision. |
Pictures from Riverside Campground in Abingdon, VA are here (a pre-popup trip). |
