John Thaddeus May (4 Oct 1919). Son of Emma Burdine Dew May and grandson of Sidney Adolphus Dew. He is a veteran of WW-II, having served as an Army Air Force pilot in the Pacific. Married Janet Ruth Barker on 6 Aug 1949. He was a pilot and Captain for Trans World Airline until his retirement in 1980. Currently lives in Greensboro, Alabama. They have four children. Thaddaeus David (27 May 1979), Aileen Robinson (5 Mar 1981), Avery Maria (27 Jun 1984) and Margaret Evelyn (19 Mar 1986).
