Edgecombe Co. before 1758. Widely known and influential.
Operated a mill on the road from Tar River. His last will
made in Northampton Co. on 2 Sep 1749 and probated there
in 1760. Elizabeth is the daughter of James Bryant Sr and
Sarah Braswell.

Halifax Cos., NC. Member of Kehukee Baptist Church in
Halifax Co. in 1755. Sold land to Henry Dawson in Edgecombe
Co. in 1767. Elizabeth Dew was administrator of his estate
in Feb 1773. Don't know first wife name. Married Elizabeth
Hickman Dec 1763. After Abraham died, Elizabeth married a
Thomas Viverette and had seven more children.

Born in Edgecombe Co. NC. Married 2 Dec 1763. Moved to South
Carolina with Reubin Dew and Reubin's son Absalom. Bought 75
acres of land in Georgetown District on SW side of Little
Pee Dee in 1789. In 1795 he deeded 65 acres in Liberty Co.
to his son Abiah. Liberty Co. became Marion Co. Appears in
the SC Census of 1790. His wife is not in the 1790 Census.
